I've created this website for the enjoyment of people who love tarot, books, music and images that have at least a hint of the medieval or Renaissance.
I write historical and speculative fiction, and am a free-lance writer, editor and graphic designer.
Attended Viable Paradise Writers Workshop. Was senior editor for seven years at tarot publisher U.S. Games Systems. Taught time management and wrote learning materials for warehouse, electronics repair, and customer service. — Jean Huets
The World
Most of the links spiral out. But some spiral in...
places:
rivers peaceful as lakes, rapids broken with boulders · abandoned islands · stone cities on rugged foothills and elegant palaces set in water  ·
strange rooms,
a house in the dunes · architecture · deserts concealing their life · tranquil groves, forests dismembered by creeping vines · toxic wastelands · soaring mountains, unending prairies · the endless ocean · earth's settings for fantasy and life.
inspiration:
alchemy,
emblems,
tarot garden, poetry
and stories · roots, electronica and classical
music,
the human voice · fencing, wine and good food ·
Italy, King Arthur, the American Southwest, Tibet, Middle Earth · art.
Meditation
people and animals: networks of love and need · lust, jealousy · mercy, scorn, services rendered, unstinting sacrifice · warmth and shelter, escape from loneliness · the need to touch each other, self-expression, misunderstandings · dance ·
carnival ·
acceptance · home · the eternal return · the mystery of family, blood and chosen.
